Service Areas

Our respiratory care provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with a wide range of breathing disorders.

The therapeutic services offered by Respiratory Care include:

• Oxygen therapy, including isolettes, infant hoods and continuous aerosol therapy
• Continuous therapy, including mechanical ventilation, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP) and continuous nebulization (CNBT)
• Intermittent therapy, including incentive spirometry, small volume nebulizer, chest physiotherapy, vest therapy and BiPAP therapy
• Monitoring and diagnostic services, including pulse oximetry, overnight saturation studies, pulmonary function testing (PFT), fiberoptic bronchoscopy, conscious sedation assists and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPX)

All services except routine PFTs and CPX are offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most services are performed in the patient’s room except PFTs and CPX, which are performed in our pulmonary lab.
