Our three most common types of therapy include physical, occupational and speech language. However, the L.E. Phillips Physical Rehabilitation Center also offers recreational and psychological therapy services. Music services are also available.
The highly skilled therapy staff at Sacred Heart Hospital provides comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients. Our staff members work together with the patient and family to set up a plan of care to meet the needs of each patient.

Outpatient program
Comprehensive, coordinated outpatient services are available for patients who require the services of one or more therapies. Our outpatient team of rehabilitation professionals works with patients who need either a short course of treatment or extensive outpatient rehabilitation.
Acute program
Acute inpatients can benefit from the services of highly-skilled physical, occupational and speech therapists trained to provide assessments and services that maximize patient independence and functional mobility. These services minimize patient length of stay and provide an environment for patients to begin the process of living independently.
Medical conditions that involve pain, weakness and functional loss may require rehabilitation or therapeutic intervention. These include, but are not limited to:
