What is Joint Renew Camp®?
Our Joint Renew Camp has one goal—to get you back up on your feet and into your home environment. This free program will help you be more informed about your surgery, so that you will feel confident about your decision to have a joint replacement procedure. A priority is the importance of wellness and recovery at your own pace.

What topics will be covered?
Pre-operative guidelines, including what to pack
Anesthesia
Overview of your surgery, so you know what to expect
Pain control
Medication
Physical therapy
Occupational therapy
Discharge planning
Recovery after your hospital stay

How do I register?
Joint Renew Camp is held on Wednesdays in the Sacred Heart Hospital Community Auditorium. Registration is required. You and your “coach” should plan to attend Joint Renew Camp 2-3 weeks prior to your surgery.

Anyone planning to have joint replacement surgery is welcome to register for this free program.
