2008 Student Nurse Intern Program
Learn and Earn at Sacred Heart Hospital!
About our program:
- Eight-week scheduled “Working & Learning” Program, 32 hours paid hours per week (June 9 through August 1, 2008)
- “Hands-on” patient & family-centered clinical experiences working under direct RN preceptorship.
- Two weeks of orientation and 1 day per week scheduled clinical educational session with our Medical-Surgical Clinical Specialists
- Potential for continuing employment while completing final semester(s) of Nursing Curriculum
- Preferential employment status upon graduation and completion of GN requirements
- Opportunity for developing competence & confidence in clinical nursing practice

Application Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an approved school of Nursing
- Must have successfully completed two semesters in an AND program or the third year of a BSN program prior to application deadline
Applications will be accepted through February 15, 2008
Final selection on Student Nurse Interns is March 15, 2008
