It is our great honor to thank you for your support over this past year. Your amazing spirit of generosity has made it possible for us to help Sacred Heart Hospital continue to provide exceptional care to all, without exception.
Because of you:
- Physicians and care teams at Sacred Heart have delivered hope to patients through technology like the da Vinci® Surgical System. This technology was made possible through a $1.5-million commitment by Friends of Sacred Heart funds.
- We were able to bring renowned physician Dr. Bernie Siegel and his message of hope and healing to our community and Friends of the Heart Gala. His message empowered patients and caregivers and allowed us to further the Hospital Sisters’ Mission to care for our patients—mind, body and soul.
- The Classic, our annual golf and tennis event, raised $60,000 as the final installment on the pledge for the “A Time to Build” campaign.
- Our year-end Century Circle campaign raised $46,000 to fund the purchase of technologies to help advance the care of patients at Sacred Heart Hospital.
- We were able to establish the Monsignor Klimek Healing Presence Endowment Fund to honor his sacred ministry. This endowment will enhance the spiritual experiences of Sacred Heart’s patients and families, and will educate staff, physicians and the community on the Sisters’ healing mission in healthcare. In the earliest stage of the campaign alone, $500,000 was raised in 2007 to launch the fund.
- The first annual Friends of the Heart Gala raised nearly $40,000 to help bring the newest technology to Sacred Heart Hospital—BrainSUITE intraoperative MRI.
